About the position

We are looking for a proactive recruiter who can guide candidates throughout the entire hiring process for both hourly and salaried roles. The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing the candidate experience from prospecting, through interviews, to the offer stage, and all the way to onboarding. This role requires creativity in sourcing candidates through various methods, including social media and building a referral network within industry organizations. You will be responsible for recruiting for challenging positions and becoming a trusted partner to the hiring managers you support. Additionally, you will qualify prospective candidates through resume reviews, phone screens, and in-person interviews to assess their skills and determine potential job matches. Managing communication with candidates and documenting recruiting activities in our Applicant Tracking System is also a key responsibility. You should be able to independently drive processes and identify areas for improvement in recruiting strategies based on data.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively guide candidates throughout the entire hiring process for hourly and salaried roles.
  • Attract candidates through creative sourcing methods including utilization of social media, internal and external databases, and building a vast referral network within industry organizations.
  • Recruit for challenging positions and become a trusted partner of the hiring managers you support.
  • Qualify prospective candidates via resume review, phone screens and in-person interviews to assess skills and determine potential job matches.
  • Manage the communication process with candidates and efficiently document recruiting activity in our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Own and drive processes independently, looking for areas of opportunity to make improvements and change recruiting strategies based on data.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience
  • Relationship building skills with hiring managers at all levels and making quality hires
  • Confidence to jump in and move on open requisitions with a sense of urgency
  • Creative and innovative mindset and the ability to independently solve problems
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management capabilities
  • Good judgment and the ability to uphold confidentiality
  • Passionate about recruiting and telling a compelling story
  • Use creative sourcing techniques beyond LinkedIn and can make strategic recommendations
  • Confident with in-person meetings and articulating status updates with key stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
