About the position

CoBridge Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated and flexible Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team in Houston, Texas, focusing on serving seniors in assisted living and memory care environments. This contract position offers competitive pay and requires travel based on business needs. The Nurse Delegator will play a crucial role in ensuring resident care needs are met by delegating nursing tasks, training staff, and overseeing medication services.

Responsibilities

• Delegates nursing tasks as allowed under applicable state nursing laws and practice acts, communicating regularly with residents, their families, and their health care practitioners.
• Provides training of staff in health-related services including but not limited to providing personal care and medication management.
• Assesses health, functional, and psychosocial status of residents. Participates in the development of individualized service plans.
• Assists in managing care and services for each resident, maximizing the resident's opportunity to remain in the assisted living environment.
• Oversees the documentation and communication of resident care and services. Assists the leadership team to ensure resident records are completed in a timely manner and maintained according to company policies and state regulations.
• Maintains and oversees medication services including staff training, staff oversight, pharmacy coordination, medication room, and medication systems.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing.
• 2 years of experience in geriatric nursing, medication administration, case management, and training and staff development preferred.

Benefits
