The Prep and Recovery Nurse at Sibley Ambulatory Surgery Center is responsible for preparing and recovering patients undergoing outpatient surgeries. Responsibilities
- Prep patients for surgery in the outpatient OR.
- Monitor and recover patients post-surgery.
- Provide exceptional patient care during the prep and recovery phases.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients and families about post-operative care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in the District of Columbia.
- BLS and CPR certification through AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training required.
- ICU experience required.
