Responsibilities

• Perform cradle-to-grave contracting actions including acquisition planning, solicitation, evaluation, and cost/price analyses.
• Negotiate settlements for contractual changes and equitable adjustments.
• Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and evaluate offers.
• Provide guidance or training to lower grades, new hires, or others as necessary.
• Perform pre- and post-award functions for complex procurements and contracts.

Requirements

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited educational institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees, or equivalent experience in a relevant position.
• One year of specialized experience related to procurement and contracting actions for GS-11 level, or two years for GS-12 level.
• Familiarity with federal contract methods and types, and knowledge of federal contract administration policy.
