About the position

Nth Generation is seeking an experienced Contract Specialist to join our accounting team. This position operates under the general direction of the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and is responsible for contract preparation, negotiation, administration, and management in accordance with company policy and practice. The Contract Specialist will provide world-class customer service and will often be the first point of contact for clients, partners, and third-party service providers. This is a Salary Exempt position that requires maintaining the Nth Corporate Culture.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain Nth's standard contractual terms and conditions, including regular reviews and updates.
  • Participate in and lead negotiations with clients and prospects based on requested modifications.
  • Review contractual terms in bids and proposals to ensure alignment with Nth's standards.
  • Negotiate agreements with potential partners and third-party subcontractors.
  • Evaluate and recommend updates to Nth's contractual terms and conditions.
  • Represent Nth Generation as the primary administrative contact on assigned contracts.
  • Identify contract issues and provide leadership in developing solutions.
  • Advise management on contractual rights and obligations.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory changes impacting contracts.
  • Maintain, analyze, and develop various electronic and hard copy records.
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and planning sessions as directed.
  • Offer suggestions for process improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration with an emphasis in contract administration or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of progressive professional experience in contract administration, preferably in a technology solutions and services provider.
  • Complete understanding of contract principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound critical thinking and judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and guide others.
  • Knowledge of Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills with large data sets.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 applications, particularly Teams, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with FileMaker Pro for business operations.
