About the position

As the Contractor Acquisition Manager at ToolBelt, you will be instrumental in expanding the network of qualified contractors through effective recruitment strategies. This role involves managing a recruitment team, developing sourcing strategies, and ensuring that all contractors meet necessary qualifications. You will play a key role in driving user recruitment and enhancing the ToolBelt app's reach within the construction industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute direct sourcing and recruitment strategies for contractor recruitment.
  • Manage and develop a team of recruiting professionals, including hiring, training, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Lead the team in conducting prospecting calls and outreach to recruit new users and assess candidates' skills, experience, and qualifications.
  • Ensure that all identified contractors meet licensing, insurance, and background check requirements.
  • Develop and manage recruitment targets and KPIs, and prepare forecasts.
  • Measure and optimize the performance of the recruitment team, analyzing data and addressing issues.
  • Utilize various sourcing channels to build a strong pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Collaborate with the Customer Success team to understand their needs for contractor recruitment.
  • Provide regular updates on progress against targets and team performance to leadership.
  • Build reporting and maintain accurate records of candidate interactions in CRM (Hubspot).
  • Identify opportunities to improve and streamline the contractor recruitment process.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging technologies in recruitment.
  • Build and maintain relationships with industry professionals and organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in recruitment or staffing, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Experience in recruiting for 1099 & W2 workforce staffing.
  • Strong understanding of construction trades, roles, and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to source and recruit passive candidates.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRMs and other recruitment tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Proficiency in the Google Office suite.

  • Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
  • Knowledge of HR databases and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
  • Familiarity with AI-driven recruitment tools and processes.
