The OMBP Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing technology projects that support the Overseas Military Banking Program (OMBP) and various Lines of Business (LOB) information technology platforms. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles and the ability to navigate complex, cross-functional projects that may have inter-departmental implications. The Project Manager will serve as the primary contact for senior department managers regarding critical change initiatives, providing necessary assistance to staff and ensuring that projects align with business objectives. In this position, the Project Manager will partner with the business to develop and transition plans that include ongoing success measures to sustain changes effectively. The role is accountable for initiatives that are limited in scope to department products, processes, or functions, although some projects may extend across multiple departments. The Project Manager will analyze the current state of projects, develop alternative future-state approaches, and facilitate the implementation of these strategies. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling projects using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure efficient and effective project completion. This includes developing and socializing potential risk mitigation strategies and effectively communicating with managers, peers, and business partners regarding deliverables, timelines, and support needed. Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for maintaining Clarity and PCM updates and project documentation. Strong project management skills are essential, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines, with a typical requirement of 8+ years of project management support experience.
