About the position

The Outside Sales Representative at URSROBOT, Inc. is a contractor role focused on developing new prospects and managing customer accounts to increase sales of the company's innovative robotic products. This position requires face-to-face selling, account management, and the ability to engage with various levels of customer organizations. Responsibilities

  • Develop target customer list and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to execute sales plans and achieve targets.
  • Become an expert in robotic technology and demonstrate products effectively.
  • Travel to appointments to demo products, meet clients, and negotiate deals within the assigned territory.
  • Utilize best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers to understand their business objectives and needs.
  • Provide weekly written recaps on sales pipeline using CRM sales system.
  • Manage sales channels (dealers) effectively.
  • Stay informed on industry-specific trends and landscapes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years in outside sales, preferably in outdoor power equipment, agriculture, or construction equipment.
  • Excellent negotiation, customer service, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience using a sales CRM tool like SalesForce or Hubspot.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish or Mandarin is a plus.
  • Understanding of brand sales or dealer sales experience is preferred.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Ability to lift 70 pounds multiple times per day for product demonstrations.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
