About the position

The Contracts & Administrative Manager at Hottinger Bruel & Kjaer Solutions LLC will play a crucial role in overseeing contract administration and managing a small administrative team. This hybrid position primarily supports a diverse team of engineers, data scientists, and developers, focusing on contract execution, financial oversight, and compliance with US Government regulations. Responsibilities

  • Support contract execution for HBK Solutions LLC.
  • Manage contract administration and oversight.
  • Prepare cost proposals and estimates.
  • Review contracts for deliverables, schedules, and costs to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with US Government regulations, including FAR/DFAR.
  • Interface with legal and customer contract administrators.
  • Administer subcontracts and labor rate models.
  • Collaborate with sales, business development, engineering, software, and management teams.
  • Oversee accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll Reconciliation, and Monthly Closing.
  • Supervise a small administration team and support management activities.
  • Oversee the implementation of Unanet Enterprise Resource Management.

Requirements

  • US Citizen (Requirement - no exceptions)
  • 4 Year degree in Business Administration with an Accounting emphasis
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with managing people
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (Unanet, SAP, etc.)
  • Experience with Cost Proposal (organizing, writing, and cost modeling)
  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations as applicable to HBK Solutions business model
  • Experience with building and managing prime contractor (customer) relationships
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work independently and effectively with others
  • Exceptional skills related to time management and decision making
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Computer software skills including Microsoft Office
  • Document management skills
