About the position

The Contracts Administrator for Renewable Energy is responsible for preparing, reviewing, monitoring, and maintaining contracts while ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations. This role involves researching and preparing reports as needed, developing and maintaining a contract database, and serving as a liaison with various departments regarding legal contractual negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, monitor, and maintain contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Research and prepare reports as needed.
  • Develop and maintain a contract database by updating the status of existing contracts.
  • Create and maintain templates for contract reporting and documentation guidelines.
  • Monitor contract performance for compliance to terms and conditions and report non-compliance issues.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance and business integrity standards.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret contract data requests.
  • Facilitate and track the internal contracting process for WMRE Departments.
  • Serve as a liaison with other WMRE Departments regarding legal contractual negotiations and contract language revisions.
  • Investigate contract-related questions, complaints, and disputes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or similar area of study, or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Contract management experience may be required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Work experience in system and contract management with an emphasis on process improvement.
