About The Position

The Contracts Analyst at AAR Corp. is responsible for managing customer engagement and supporting the Contracts Manager. This role involves reviewing RFQs and RFPs, coordinating with government buying commands and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with contract terms. The analyst will also maintain customer quote folders and work collaboratively with the Defense group to enhance service levels.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; or seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with Government regulations FAR & DFARS is preferred, but not required.
• Foundational knowledge of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) supplementary regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review all new RFQs and RFPs for terms and conditions prior to processing vendor quotes.
• Receive quotes from Product Line Administrator and electronically file bids to government buying commands.
• Coordinate with government buying commands or subcontractors regarding amendments to solicitations and contract modifications.
• Maintain all open customer quote folders.
• Work cooperatively with other members of the Defense group to ensure high service levels.
• Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve challenges.
• Manage daily activities by cultivating strategic relationships with external stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings with customers, managers, and suppliers to develop plans and monitor progress.
