About the position

The Contracts Coordinator I position at Prime Healthcare Services is a vital role within the organization, focusing on the management and execution of Provider contracts and Letters of Agreements (LOA) for the self-funded medical plan (EPO). The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Contract Analyst to gather and verify the necessary documentation required to fully execute these contracts. This role is essential in ensuring that all contracts are maintained accurately and that any changes to Provider or Provider Group demographics are documented and updated accordingly. The Contracts Coordinator will also be responsible for the verification of re-occurring rosters and documentation, ensuring that all information is current and accurate. In addition to contract maintenance, the Contracts Coordinator will assist with Provider communications as needed, requiring a high level of professionalism and discretion. The position demands effective communication skills, both written and verbal, as the coordinator will interact with various stakeholders, including physicians and vendors. The role may also involve special projects assigned by the Corporate Director of Employee Health and the Director of Network Development & Provider Relations, providing opportunities for professional growth and development within the organization. Responsibilities

  • Collect necessary documentation needed to fully execute Provider contracts and Letters of Agreements (LOA) for the self-funded medical plan (EPO).
  • Maintain contracts and manage Provider/Provider Group demographic changes.
  • Verify re-occurring rosters and documentation.
  • Assist with Provider communications as necessary.
  • Perform special projects as assigned by the Corporate Director of Employee Health (EPO) and the Director of Network Development & Provider Relations (EPO).

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED.
  • Working knowledge of physician credentialing process and strong follow-up skills.
  • Knowledge of Managed Care contracts and the contracting process.
  • Working knowledge of self-funded medical plans and/or Managed Care plans.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Windows & Excel.
  • Ability to interact professionally with physicians and vendors.
