About the position

The Contracts Manager will support Amazon Web Services (AWS) by managing contracts related to real estate transactions, including drafting and negotiating service agreements, work orders, easements, and lease amendments. This role involves providing day-to-day contracting advice, managing outside counsel, and driving process improvements for real estate transactions. Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate service agreements, work orders, easements, lease amendments, and other real estate documents.
• Provide day-to-day contracting advice to business team members.
• Support AWS's existing real estate portfolio and work cross-functionally with other teams.
• Drive process improvements and initiatives to track and simplify real estate transactions.
• Manage outside counsel and create and lead trainings.

Requirements

• 5+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or comparable experience within a law firm, legal department, or property management or real estate development company.
• Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts.
• Real estate and/or construction contract experience.
• Project management experience.
