About the position

This position serves as a strategic partner within the Interiors Supply Chain organization, reporting to the Senior Manager of Supply Chain Contracts. The role involves managing a complex portfolio of supplier contracts, coordinating with business partners on supply chain contract matters, and communicating with supply chain leadership to achieve business objectives. The position is remote and requires strong organizational and analytical skills to ensure compliance and risk management in contract administration.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, generate, negotiate, interpret, and manage complex contract documents.
  • Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts adhere to negotiated parameters.
  • Manage projects focused on contract requirements.
  • Review contractual terms and conditions for acceptability and assess risk.
  • Analyze contracts for compliance with company policies and specifications.
  • Prepare negotiation plans and conduct regular contract reviews.
  • Utilize legal resources to address risks through unique contract terms.
  • Brief team leaders on contract status and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflow and improve work quality.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to enhance effectiveness.
  • Represent the organization on legal issues related to contracts.
  • Provide legal advice on contractual matters and administration.
  • Maintain historical legal records.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice-to-haves

  • Juris Doctorate or Advanced Degree in Business Administration.
