About the position

The Contracts Manager is responsible for ensuring contractual compliance and overseeing the administration of the prime contract. This role serves as a central point of contact for project management and local government contracting teams, providing support in various contract administration tasks. The position requires a strong focus on contract modifications, compliance with company policies, and effective communication with contracting parties.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractual compliance while monitoring the administration of the prime contract.
  • Serve as a central point of contact for project management, contract management, and local Government contracting teams.
  • Maintain day-to-day work history for retrieval as necessary.
  • Assist project management and CONUS contracts leadership on contract administration matters.
  • Support the review of bids and/or change order proposals for conformity to contract requirements.
  • Coordinate work changes that could influence the prime contract with management at the project and/or group level.
  • Ensure compliance with Company policies on contracts and procurement.
  • Provide interpretation of contracts and monitor fulfillment of contractual obligations.
  • Formulate and compile a variety of related Contract packages and administer these packages during execution.
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of work experience in government contract administration, focusing on negotiations and managing contract scope changes.
  • Experience in Government contract administration/management, procurement practice, cost accounting, financial management, and operations in challenging environments.
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFAR and the Service Contract and Fair Labor Standards Acts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills; proficiency in word-processing and integrated software applications.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in OCONUS locations.
  • Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Active US passport.
