About the position

ProCare Therapy is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in a school-based setting. The role involves working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality services to students with diverse needs, either on a full-time or part-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Support students with diverse needs in a school-based setting.
• Manage a caseload of approximately 26 students, focusing on moderate to severe needs.
• Collaborate with virtual Occupational Therapists as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ years of occupational therapy experience required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Valid state licensure to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
