About the position

The Senior Application Support (Control-M Administrator) position at Freddie Mac is a critical role within the IT OPS Platform Management team. The candidate will be responsible for operational support of enterprise tools, ensuring the stability and performance of the firm's environments. This role involves engaging with various teams to execute changes, respond to incidents, and troubleshoot issues, all while maintaining a focus on improving processes and automating tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for Control-M administration and job migrations.
• Engage with business owners and technical teams to execute changes and respond to incidents.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root cause analysis (RCA) activities.
• Ensure the team operates effectively and efficiently to meet goals.
• Vet changes for accuracy and risk based on policy and governance.
• Leverage automation to reduce manual intervention in repetitive tasks.
• Forecast job scheduling and optimize processes.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of professional experience in information technology.
• In-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Control-M administration and architecture.
• Experience in migrating Control-M jobs and AutoSys jobs to Control-M.
• Strong understanding of job scheduling and workflow automation.
• Proficiency in Control-M components, integrations, reporting, and APIs.
• Experience with CICD, DevOps tools, and application development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Service Now and Jira GAPS.
• Knowledge of the secondary mortgage market and Multifamily business.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
