About the position

The position at JLL involves monitoring and responding to equipment and system alarms, ensuring prompt and accurate actions are taken to address any issues. This role is critical in maintaining operational efficiency and safety within the organization, requiring effective communication and collaboration across various levels.

Responsibilities

• Visually monitor all equipment and system alarms.
• Evaluate all alarms and select the appropriate process for response.
• Respond to and acknowledge equipment and system alarms.
• Contact the appropriate responsible party for investigation and resolution using a telephone or two-way radio.
• Initiate an alarm Work Order when needed and document actions taken.
• Process work orders from entry through close out.
• Track and document root cause, investigation, and corrective actions of work orders from alarms.
• Reconcile alarms with alarm printout at the end of each shift.
• Monitor and document planned alarms.
• Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate and collaborate across many levels within JLL and Client.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Sound judgment, initiative, resourcefulness, and flexibility to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multitask and work without direct supervision.
• Accurate and efficient data entry and follow-up skills.
• Ability to adjust and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
• Willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of Computers and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of Delta V and BMS alarm systems.
• Knowledge of EAMS or other CMMS.
