About the position
As a Hallam-ICS intern, you will work with experienced Control Systems Engineers and assist the team in performing various tasks while gaining exposure to different aspects of the engineering process. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn and contribute to real-world projects in control systems engineering.
Responsibilities
- Create project documents and specifications.
- Develop or modify Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programs.
- Develop or modify a Human Machine Interface (HMI).
- Conduct field surveys of existing facilities for retrofit projects.
- Coordinate with the control panel shop and oversee panel fabrication.
- Perform wiring checks of control panels in our panel shop and/or at customer sites.
- Specify and select control system hardware (programmable controllers), control panel components, network switches, instruments, motor controls, and valves.
