About the position

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join their team. The role involves hands-on installation and troubleshooting of various electrical systems in industrial manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in motor control systems and electrical distribution, along with the ability to work effectively in a team environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Install and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems including 480V 3-phase, 110V, 24V, and 12V motor control systems.
• Work with Hard-Wired Motor Control Centers, Combination Starters, Start-Stop Stations, and Estop Circuits.
• Handle Electrical Distribution systems and wiring up to 480V.
• Install conduit, wireways, and pull wiring/cables, as well as terminate cables.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams.
• Safely work at heights over 20' using ladders, man lifts, harnesses, and scaffolding.
• Work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Utilize computer knowledge including Microsoft Office & Excel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years' experience in Industrial Manufacturing Facilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Motor Control Systems.
• Technical School Electrical or Electronic School training certification preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with electrical test equipment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
