About the position

New Era AV Technologies is looking for a skilled Installation Technician/Programmer to join their team. This full-time position involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various audio-visual systems, including home automation systems like Control4. The role emphasizes customer service and collaboration with team members to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot a wide range of AV systems, including flat-panel televisions, projectors, home theater and surround sound systems, home automation systems (Control4), structured wiring and networking, and equipment racks.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide expert customer service, including training clients on system usage.
• Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year industry experience
• Medium-level Control4 programming
• Proven AV installation and programming experience
• Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights
• Valid driver's license.
