About the position

We are in search of a Controller to join our team in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry, based in Houston, Texas. The Controller will play a crucial role in managing accounting software systems, financial services, and ERP solutions. This role will also require managing accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and budget processes. The ideal candidate will oversee the operation of accounting software systems and ERP solutions to ensure efficiency and accuracy. They will manage ADP - Financial Services and ensure compliance with DCAA regulations. Additionally, the Controller will handle all accounting functions, conduct regular audits to ensure financial transparency, and oversee budget processes to ensure the company's financial resources are utilized effectively. Working in a small to mid-size company environment, the Controller will provide hands-on experience in all facets of the business. They will utilize skills in SAP and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to streamline processes and ensure all financial transactions and processes are compliant with company policies and legal regulations. Collaboration with various departments to create financial reports and statements will be essential, as well as developing and implementing effective strategies for financial performance and growth.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with DCAA regulations and requirements
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Experience with ERP Solutions
• Capable of handling all Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Knowledge in Auditing practices and principles
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Ability to work in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry
• Prior experience in a Controller role is beneficial
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
