The role also includes reviewing balance sheet accounts monthly to confirm proper reconciliation and conducting analysis of P&L accounts to support the month-end process along with cost analysis and evaluation. Additionally, the candidate will lead and develop the accounting staff while maintaining good working relations with managers across all lines of business. This includes creating and executing development goals for the accounting staff, coordinating with various departments on financial reporting, payables, billing, collections, and payroll, and ensuring compliance with external and internal audit requests. The candidate will also recommend and assist with new efforts to improve management and financial performance and work on ad hoc projects as directed.
