About the position

As the Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This role is crucial for budgeting, forecasting, and financial strategy, providing insights that drive decision-making and support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting personnel and activities
  • Prepare and evaluate reports to ensure the company's financial health and compliance
  • Make financial suggestions based on report analysis regarding expenditures, savings, cost-cutting, reserves, etc.
  • Assist in auditing and taxation processes of the company
  • Prepare budgets
  • Present reports and review financial performance with other departments
  • Assist with acquisition review and integration

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to present financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Proven track record of strategic financial planning and analysis
