About the position

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly accounting processes, prepare operating reports, and manage budget variance analyses.
• Support the creation and execution of annual budgets, business plans, and financial forecasts for the Fund.
• Prepare quarterly investor reports, including financial statements and performance analyses.
• Oversee cash distributions, preferred return calculations, and fund performance evaluations.
• Manage year-end audits, tax returns, and coordinate with external auditors.
• Ensure accurate waterfall calculations and manage investor distributions.
• Foster relationships with third-party property management teams and assist with acquisitions/dispositions.
• Drive process improvements and support system optimizations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of accounting or finance experience in the real estate investment industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, fair value accounting, and tax laws.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
