Responsibilities

  • Consult with project teams on enterprise-wide technology projects, system upgrades, and process improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to analyze financial and operational data and provide options regarding expected changes.
  • Coordinate methods to execute, test, and implement project deliverables while balancing stakeholder needs.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of the airline industry and finance functions to evaluate impacts to systems and processes.
  • Provide recommendations to maintain or improve the integrity of financial systems through periodic testing and validation.
  • Generate ideas for high-level performance improvement opportunities for finance and enterprise-wide projects.
  • Prepare and present ad hoc analyses and reports describing financial and operational impacts in layman's terms.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Advanced level experience in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Management Information Systems
  • Specialized knowledge in financial and business risks and impacts
  • Experience in financial system master data and integrations
  • Technology project support and testing experience
  • Skilled in project management of complex, enterprise-wide technology and process improvement projects

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices
  • Skilled in effectively communicating information and ideas to various audiences
  • Ability to challenge assumptions and work towards mutually agreed outcomes
