About the position

The Controller will oversee the financial operations of the division, ensuring compliance with GAAP and corporate policies. This role is crucial for managing financial planning, reporting, cost accounting, and forecasting, while also driving process improvements and collaborating with operational teams to support business goals effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly financial close process and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and financial performance, identifying variances and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with operational teams to align financial priorities with business goals.
• Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Lead capital expenditure planning and ensure project compliance with financial policies.
• Act as the primary liaison for external audits, tax reporting, and compliance activities.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
• 10-15+ years of accounting/finance experience, 5+ years within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
