About the position

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in Tucson, Arizona. This role is crucial to our organization as it involves the preparation of financial reports, establishing and maintaining an effective system of accounting records, and implementing a comprehensive set of controls and budgets. These responsibilities are designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Controller will play a key role in overseeing the financial health of the organization and will be responsible for ensuring that all financial practices are in line with statutory laws and regulations. In this position, the Controller will oversee the preparation of financial reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness. They will develop and maintain an adequate system of accounting records for a comprehensive set of controls and budgets. The Controller will implement strategies designed to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results. Additionally, they will handle the maintenance of accounting software systems and customer relationship management systems, manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and oversee the auditing process to ensure compliance and accuracy. The Controller will also be responsible for budget processes to ensure financial efficiency and will prepare monthly financial reports for management review. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of accounting functions, experience with auditing, and the ability to prepare detailed financial reports. The ideal candidate will utilize skills in various accounting software and tools, including '3M', 'ADP - Financial Services', 'CRM', 'Crystal Reports', and will have proven experience in managing accounts payable and receivable.
