About the position

Carrollton Drywall Construction company is seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. This part-time position is ideal for an experienced professional who can assist in the preparation of operating budgets and oversee financial reporting. The Controller will play a crucial role in managing the accounting and financial operations of our growing company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and monitoring financial documentation for accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements and managing all accounting processes, including accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), payroll, and cash flow management. In addition to these responsibilities, the Controller will oversee tax preparation and ensure that the company complies with both state and federal regulations. Establishing and monitoring policies and procedures that govern accounting, reporting, auditing, and budgeting will also be a key part of this role. Responsibilities

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance
• Experience in preparing financial statements
• Proficiency in managing accounting processes including AR, AP, and payroll
• Ability to oversee tax preparation and compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
