The Controller at the ARC of Delaware County plays a crucial role in supporting the Chief Financial Officer in financial management and accounting. This position is responsible for ensuring the organization meets its financial reporting obligations and adheres to applicable laws and regulations, while fostering a supportive and respectful work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Financial Officer in financial management and accounting.
• Provide internal and external financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with New York non-profit laws and regulations.
• Prepare and execute business and financial related policies and procedures.
• Ensure timely completion of quarterly and yearly audits.
• Provide financial reports for the agency's board.
• Demonstrate excellent organization and time management skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience.
• Valid NY Drivers License.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Great Plains software experience preferred.
