About the position

Pentaflex, Inc. is seeking a Controller to oversee the accounting and finance functions within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, analyzing financial information, and coordinating with external auditors. This role requires a strong background in accounting, particularly in manufacturing, and offers a flexible schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accounting and finance functions
• Prepare monthly financial statements
• Analyze financial information
• Evaluate the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting database, as needed
• Coordinate activities of external auditors
• Assist in the implementation, development, and operation of the ERP system
• Monitor all part costs and work with sales and production control to reduce variances and/or recommend potential price increases to customers to maintain a sustainable margin
• Develop burden rates by work center for accurate costing purposes
• Responsible for the company's fixed assets
• Work with other departments for training needs in information systems

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Accountancy or equivalent combination of experience and education
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
