About the position

The Controller plays a crucial role in the financial management of the hospital, operating under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer. This position is responsible for directing, coordinating, and planning the activities of the accounting department. The Controller collaborates with other hospital management to define financial goals and objectives, ensuring that priorities are set to meet the financial targets of the Center. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of all accounting reports, both internal and external, which is essential for maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. In addition to overseeing the accounting department, the Controller is expected to implement effective accounting systems and procedures that align with the hospital's operational needs. This includes monitoring financial performance, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. The Controller will also be involved in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis. The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders is a key aspect of this role, as is the need to foster a collaborative environment within the finance team and across the organization.

  • Experience with the hardware and software used by the hospital is desirable.
  • Proficient PC knowledge is a must.
  • Ability to plan and manage accounting systems and procedures.
  • High level of problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills with all levels of management.
