About the position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to lead a team effectively. As a Controller, you will play a critical role in maintaining financial health and compliance within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Oversee budgeting processes and provide accurate forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Supervise payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate payment of employees.
  • Implement double entry bookkeeping practices to uphold the integrity of financial data.
  • Collaborate with other departments to analyze financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed reports for management that summarize financial status, trends, and forecasts.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Proficient in balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Expertise in budgeting processes and forecasting techniques.
  • Solid understanding of account reconciliation and account analysis methodologies.
  • Familiarity with double entry bookkeeping principles.
  • Proven ability to manage payroll functions accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
