About the position

The Controller will manage the company's accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and business acumen to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls. The Controller will also support the procurement team, ensuring alignment with financial goals and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory standards.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial information to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Support the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop and monitor budgets.
• Analyze budget variances and provide insights to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
• Work with the finance leadership team to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.
• Uphold the highest ethical standards in all financial transactions and reporting activities.
• Make efficient use of existing accounting software and financial tools to enhance accuracy and streamline reporting.
• Apply analytical skills to address financial and operational challenges, providing data-driven insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 3-5 years in a management role.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
• Proficient in accounting software and financial analysis tools.
• Proven track record of ethical practice and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
