About the position

The Controller position at WFA Staffing is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing accounting and financial statement preparation for non-dealership entities. The role involves supporting the finance team in improving processes and controls, managing month-end and year-end closing activities, and maintaining fixed assets and depreciation schedules. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, particularly in a manufacturing environment, and will contribute to cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and financial statement preparation for non-dealership entities.
• Support the finance team to improve processes and controls for accuracy of information.
• Work on cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain fixed assets, depreciation schedules, and capital expenditures for all related companies.
• Support updates to accounting systems, including financial statement mapping and chart of account changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting from a four-year college/university.
• At least 6 years of related experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• CPA preferred.
• Working knowledge of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) is a plus.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
