We are seeking a proactive, strategic Controller to join our fast-growing SaaS company. As we scale, we need a finance leader who can blend hands-on execution with a strategic approach to building robust financial systems. In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping our financial infrastructure, establishing the finance team, and driving process improvements that support scalability and efficiency. This role encompasses full ownership of our accounting operations, audit support, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance financial accuracy and automation. You'll reduce manual processes, streamline month-end close, and maintain audit readiness to uphold financial integrity as we grow. In a fast-paced, evolving environment, you'll be the guardian of financial accuracy, ensuring compliance and security. This opportunity comes with both challenges and impact. Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of accounting, including AP, AR, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Maintain audit readiness and collaborate with external auditors to ensure a seamless audit process.
  • Drive automation initiatives by leveraging NetSuite and other financial tools, reducing dependency on manual processes.
  • Safeguard financial data by ensuring integrity and security across all records.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Develop scalable financial processes to support rapid growth and evolving business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Accounting Manager or Controller in a SaaS or high-growth startup environment.
  • Strong NetSuite expertise with a track record in automation and system optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and audit processes.
  • Tech-forward, process-improvement mindset with a focus on scalability.
  • Leadership skills with a passion for building and developing a high-performing finance team.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
