About the position

The Controller is responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans aimed at increasing the company's profitability. This role involves monitoring sales progress, directing sales forecasting activities, and ensuring that sales representatives maintain strong relationships with key customers. The Controller collaborates with other department managers to meet customer needs and manages the sales staff's performance and expenses to align with budgetary requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase profitability.
  • Monitor the progress of sales plans and make necessary adjustments.
  • Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals.
  • Review market analysis to determine customer needs and pricing strategies.
  • Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations for the sales program.
  • Assist sales representatives in presentations to key customers.
  • Ensure sales representatives maintain relationships with all accounts through joint calls and reviews.
  • Maintain communication with vendor representatives and coordinate scheduling.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to meet customer needs in a timely manner.
  • Analyze and control sales staff expenses to meet budgetary requirements.

Requirements

  • 3 years of management experience in a sales environment.
  • Valid Driver's License.
