About the position

The Controller position at Robert Half in Grapevine, Texas, is a key role responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting management. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting procedures. The role requires strong leadership and analytical skills to support the CFO and senior leadership in financial decision-making and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of accounting management including AP, AR, and month-end close.
• Monitor and analyze balance sheets, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Assist in the formation of internal controls and policies.
• Prepare financial statements to be reviewed by the CFO.
• Manage the AP specialist and create cash flow projections for the CFO.
• Participate in preparation for the annual audit and corporate tax filing.
• Review the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances.
• Generate financial reports for senior leadership.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency and experience in NetSuite.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Controller role.
• Experience in budget processes.
• Ability to handle month-end close activities.
• Knowledge of GAAP accounting procedures.
• Experience in budgeting and forecasting is essential.
• Participation in annual financial reporting.
• Familiarity with audit and financial procedures.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
