About the position

The Controls and Instrumentation Engineer plays a crucial role in the development of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes, contributing to the future roadmaps of semiconductor logic, memory, heterogeneous integration, and chip cooling.

Responsibilities

  • Contributes to one or more of controls, instrumentation, custom circuit design, and fabrication for novel semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Assists in researching and procurement of various equipment sub-systems.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Two years experience of Semiconductor professional experience in electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Masters degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, or other relevant disciplines.
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in a research or start-up environment.
  • Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: nanofabrication, precision machine design, mechatronics, systems and controls, instrumentation, optical systems design.
