About the position
The Controls and Instrumentation Engineer plays a crucial role in the development of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes, contributing to the future roadmaps of semiconductor logic, memory, heterogeneous integration, and chip cooling.
Responsibilities
- Contributes to one or more of controls, instrumentation, custom circuit design, and fabrication for novel semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Assists in researching and procurement of various equipment sub-systems.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two years experience of Semiconductor professional experience in electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, or other relevant disciplines.
- Bachelors degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, or other relevant disciplines.
- Masters degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, or other relevant disciplines.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in a research or start-up environment.
- Prior experience in one or more of the following areas: nanofabrication, precision machine design, mechatronics, systems and controls, instrumentation, optical systems design.
