About the position

The Controls & Automation Engineer III position at Adecco US, Inc. involves applying mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering principles to design and maintain automation systems and control devices. The role requires a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure the effective operation of control systems across various facility locations. The engineer will work independently and collaboratively, focusing on system design, troubleshooting, and employee training while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test control systems and components, equipment, and machinery.
  • Install and operationally qualify tool/jig, equipment, control systems, and PLC-based hardware and software.
  • Use computer-assisted engineering and design software to perform assignments.
  • Apply electrical and mechanical engineering principles to achieve project goals.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain products and equipment.
  • Train employees and analyze product failures, ordering and replacing parts as necessary.
  • Determine and recommend suitable products or services for project needs.
  • Demonstrate company core values of honesty, integrity, and respect.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation or Controls Engineering, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • 4-7 years of related experience in the field or a related field.
  • Proficient in Instrument Control, Performance Analysis, Power Management, Process Optimization, Reliability Analysis, and Control Systems.
  • Familiar with electrical and control system concepts, practices, and procedures, including Servo Motors/Drives.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks or similar design software.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of regulated industries, particularly in medical device manufacturing.
  • Experience in creating BOM for projects.
  • Robotics experience or training.
