About The Position
Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co. is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team in Liberty, SC. As a world leader in the manufacture of fire sprinklers and related system valves, we are committed to the fire protection industry's goal of saving lives and reducing property damage. The Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, building, and programming electrical equipment, components, or systems that are essential for our manufacturing processes. This position involves evaluating electrical systems, products, components, and applications through the design and execution of research programs. The engineer will utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software to create detailed plans and confirm the capabilities of systems and components by developing testing methods and analyzing properties. In this role, the Electrical Engineer will analyze customer requirements to develop electrical products by researching and testing various manufacturing and assembly methods and materials. The engineer will also be responsible for developing manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment used for building and assembling sprinkler components. Ensuring product quality is paramount, and the engineer will design electrical testing methods and analyze data to meet these standards. Compliance with electrical safety regulations per NEC codes is a critical aspect of this position. The engineer will collaborate closely with outside vendors for equipment orders and will develop quotations for new machinery as part of Capital Budget projects. Additionally, the engineer will manage Capital projects from inception to final turnover for production and troubleshoot electrical issues with machinery using PLC software and tools to diagnose hardware problems.
