About the position

We are seeking a self-motivated Automation Engineer with a strong electrical engineering background, particularly in process control and automation design and development. This position requires a comprehensive technical background and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and configuring electronic control systems, specifically with Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, Variable Frequency Drives, and related communication interfaces in an industrial environment, preferably in food processing. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, PE, Computer Science, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience. The Automation Engineer will be responsible for engineering development, team support, technical management, project coordination, and full cycle project management. Strong troubleshooting skills are essential, as the role involves diagnosing and resolving issues with automated machine systems, components, and electrical devices using various test equipment. The candidate should be proficient in reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and PLC ladder logic, and must have a solid understanding of electrical safety standards and codes. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and configure electronic control systems, specifically Allen Bradley PLCs, HMIs, and Variable Frequency Drives.

Requirements
