The chosen candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and improving electrical systems in our manufacturing processes. Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain electrical control systems, machinery and equipment.
  • Develop and execute innovative electrical designs for new and existing products.
  • Utilize PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) including Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLC to optimize the automation design and circuit of manufacturing processes.
  • Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications.
  • Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
  • Use computer-assisted engineering software (AutoCAD) to perform engineering tasks.
  • Support manufacturing department with product development and testing.
  • Provide quality assurance for ongoing projects.
  • Keep current with the latest technical innovations in electrical engineering.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Expertise in PLCs including Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Mitsubishi PLC.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software applications.
  • Ability to write reports and specifications, as well as to document procedures and design work.
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, and an understanding of electrical safety standards.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of applicable codes related to electronic engineering.
  • Proficient in design and calculation software.
