About the position
The position involves implementing and documenting control systems for various types of automated equipment, with a focus on Allen Bradley and Fanuc technologies. The role requires troubleshooting and programming robot controllers, electrical control devices, and mechanical units, ensuring that equipment is designed and programmed to meet specifications. Candidates must have a strong background in PLC programming and experience with automated systems.
Responsibilities
- Implement and document controls systems for various types of automated equipment.
- Troubleshoot robot controllers, ladder logic, electrical control devices, mechanical units, transfer devices, and peripheral equipment.
- Perform machine power up, debug, and programming.
- Ensure equipment is designed and programmed to specifications using standard techniques and approaches.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Allen Bradley PLC and HMI.
- Experience with Fanuc robots is required.
- Ability to write PLC code from start to finish, not just troubleshoot and debug.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Fanuc iRVision.
- Experience with Ignition based HMI.
- Experience with Servo Motors.
- Experience with Allen Bradley PanelView Plus 7.
