About the position

As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems to automate machinery and processes within the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Your role is critical in optimizing system performance, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and maintaining the safety and reliability of production processes. Design and Development: Create and develop control systems for automated machinery and equipment, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), and HMI (Human-Machine Interface) technologies. System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and ensure seamless integration of control systems with existing processes. Testing and Validation: Conduct system testing and validation procedures to ensure functionality and reliability. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with control systems to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements to existing control systems to optimize performance. Compliance: Ensure all control systems comply with industry regulations and standards, particularly those specific to pharmaceutical manufacturing. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of control system designs, configurations, and procedures for future reference and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in control engineering, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard tools and software such as CAD, MATLAB, or LabView.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
