About the position

The position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the store. The role involves cash register operations, food preparation, and maintaining inventory, all while adhering to company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that every customer receives outstanding service.
• Ensure that products handled are priced and sold correctly as well as positively promoted to ensure facility profitability.
• Follow all sales policies of legally regulated products without exception.
• Accurately and efficiently operate cash registers and maintain all cash and receipts.
• Perform administrative duties required for day-to-day operation, including shift reports and reconciling of funds.
• Maintain the location appearance inside and outside.
• Adhere to the uniform policy and maintain a professional image.
• Work with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and stocking of products.
• Stock shelves, coolers, freezers, and displays, checking inventory expiration dates.
• Communicate customer requests to management.
• Attend all employee meetings.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent and related experience or training.
• Ability to acquire and maintain a food service sanitation certification.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to lift 21-50 lbs frequently.
• Must be of legal age to handle and sell tobacco and alcohol merchandise.
• Demonstrate core skills including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making, and skill development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in food service or retail environment.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures.
