About the position

The Conversational Voice (IVR) Platform and Application Engineer position focuses on the development and maintenance of voice applications using FreeSWITCH technology. This role requires a deep understanding of voice engineering, VoIP, and SIP protocols, as well as proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python. The engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing interactive voice response (IVR) systems that enhance customer interactions in contact centers. The position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to integrate speech recognition and text-to-speech technologies into the IVR applications, ensuring a seamless user experience. In this role, the engineer will also troubleshoot and resolve issues related to voice applications, ensuring high availability and performance. The engineer will be expected to stay updated with the latest advancements in voice technology and apply best practices in software development and system architecture. Collaboration with other engineers and stakeholders is crucial to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. The engineer will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process. Responsibilities
