About the position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Aerotek involves maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems in a large distribution center for a leading e-commerce company. The role requires technical expertise in electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, along with the ability to mentor and train other technicians. The position offers opportunities for overtime and aims to enhance individual and team performance through effective feedback and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Train employees as needed.
• Provide feedback on tasks in the Preventive Maintenance programs.
• Complete assigned PMs and provide feedback on any improvements that might be needed.
• Install and maintain photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.
• Mentor technicians by motivating, providing guidance, and directions to help them achieve their goals.
• Develop and maintain a good working relationship across all levels in the organization.
• Provide enriched feedback to enhance individual performance.
• Work with teams to complete any additional projects as assigned.
• Complete all safety training as assigned by the Company.
• Comply with all safety programs, policies, and procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems.
• Knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to train and mentor other technicians.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs.
• Technical skills to install and maintain various electrical components.
