About the position

The company is an innovative technology-enabled service organization that leverages a robust technological infrastructure to enhance site identification and landowner outreach capabilities. We are currently in search of a seasoned business operations professional to lead the strategic planning and advancement of our operational goals and initiatives. This pivotal role is essential for fostering our strategic growth trajectory and ensuring operational excellence. The selected candidate will report directly to the CEO and will play a crucial role in shaping the future success of the company through meticulous planning, dynamic leadership, and a commitment to operational superiority. In this role, you will supervise all operational facets of the organization, which includes technology, marketing, and administration, ensuring cohesive functioning and strategic alignment. You will direct daily operations comprehensively to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall organizational effectiveness. Streamlining business processes and workflows will be a key focus, as will monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement. You will also be responsible for preparing the organization for scalable operations and expansion into new and existing markets, ensuring operational readiness and strategic resource allocation. Collaboration with the CEO will be vital as you conceptualize and execute the company's growth strategy, translating high-level strategic initiatives into actionable plans and goals across all organizational levels. You will establish, nurture, and lead a high-performing team through effective recruitment, mentorship, and professional development initiatives, cultivating a corporate culture characterized by accountability, innovation, and excellence. Encouraging cross-functional collaboration and partnership among departments will be essential to promote synergy and maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all operational facets of the organization, encompassing technology, marketing, and administration, to ensure cohesive functioning and strategic alignment.
  • Direct daily operations comprehensively to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall organizational effectiveness.
  • Streamline business processes and workflows to bolster growth capabilities, focusing on refining existing procedures and instituting new ones as necessary.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement.
  • Prepare the organization for scalable operations and expansion into new and existing markets by ensuring operational readiness and strategic resource allocation.
  • Develop and manage the operational budget to optimize resource allocation and support sustainable growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO to conceptualize and execute the company's growth strategy, translating high-level strategic initiatives into actionable plans and goals throughout all organizational levels.
  • Foster alignment across departments and among team members to ensure cohesive execution of strategic objectives and operational initiatives.
  • Establish, nurture, and lead a high-performing team through effective recruitment, mentorship, and professional development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business administration or related field required, MBA strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of senior leadership experience in scaling operations and supporting growth, preferably with a technology-enabled service organization.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to translate strategic plans into actionable initiatives.
  • Organizational leadership experience in a tech-enabled service business with revenue between $10-30 million.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Demonstrated skill in strategic decision-making with a strong emphasis on thorough analysis and understanding of the big picture.
  • Comfortable with calculated risk-taking to drive business growth and innovation.
  • Track record of selecting and managing teams, including third-party consultants.
  • Strong executive presence with the capability to translate high-level strategic objectives into actionable tactical plans.
  • Aptitude for quickly grasping and resolving diverse challenges by evaluating various solutions.
