Responsibilities
- Prepare all menu items according to established standards and recipes.
- Ensure health protocols are always followed, including proper hygiene and sanitary food preparation.
- Familiarize yourself with the residents and their preferences and needs.
- Participate in resident orientations.
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Possess a current Food Handlers Card as specified per the Department of Health.
- Demonstrated skills, knowledge, and competency in leadership, training, and supervision.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills with management and staff.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and stoop throughout the day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in close contact with extreme temperatures, including cooking surfaces and walk-in freezers.
- Ability to work primarily indoors, with some outdoor work for events.
- Must be criminally cleared.
